CLOVERDALE — The Cloverdale girls’ golf team fell to Crawfordsville 206-236 Tuesday evening at Clover Meadows.
Kayla Langdon led the Clovers with a 49, followed closely by Elizabeth
Wiley’s 51. Victoria Boyette had a 61, and Erica Looper closed out the
CHS effort with a 75.
The Clovers’ highlight of the day was Langdon’s birdie of the par 5 fifth hole.
Medalist was Crawfordsville’s Stormy Staton with a three-over 39.
“We were not very consistent today. We had too many eights and
sevens and we missed too many six-foot putts,” CHS coach Ken Williams
said.
The Clovers are back in action when they host Owen Valley at 4:30 p.m. Monday.
